Bridging Traditions

Nagisa Tanaka is an international classical harpist based in Vienna. She bridges two worlds. Her music blends the Japanese sensibility of her roots with the deep traditions of Europe. Her sound is honest. Direct. It reflects a vivid range of colors, from sharp clarity to moments of quiet melancholy, that evolve over time. A highest honors graduate of 2026 with over 20 international awards, she has already performed with renowned ensembles like the NHK Symphony Orchestra and was invited to the Vienna Philharmonic’s Summer Academy.

She is the first Japanese winner of Italy’s Suoni d’Arpa. Now, she is ready for what is next. Nagisa is currently open for new concert dates and collaborations where her music can add something special to the stage. Explore her journey. Discover the music.

Her Lyon & Healy Style 11 Gold and Salvi Aurora are based in Japan and are available for performances there. Professional transport can be arranged for any instrument as required by the venue or specific performance needs.
